Monheimer Institut Point of Sale Analysis
This test procedure investigates how people perceive the Point of Sale and how it influences purchase decisions.
The MIPOS test analyses questions relating to the presentation of products on the purchase shelf, how people perceive brands, or events/promotions at the Point of Sale. By using mobile computer technology (pen computers), consumers can record their answers directly in the outlet.
The MI uses the MIPOS test in widely differing product areas (alcohol-free drinks, spirits, detergents and cleaning agents, chocolate products, refrigerated items), and it's an excellent feedback tool for measuring how consumers perceive PoS and/or retail promotions.
